The Inn at Round Pond is located on the historic Pemaquid Pennisula in Midcoast Maine, in the center of the coastal village of Round Pond. The Inn was built in the 1830's as a classic colonial two story home. By the end of the century, both a wing and third story, in the popular mansard style, had been added. William Prentice turned the house into the Harbor View Hotel, providing rooms for vacationers and workers in the shipping industry. An early 1900's brochure for the Hotel described it as "situated but a few hundred feet from the landing and offers a pleasant home for those who seek a quiet, restful place at a moderate price".

The Inn, which is open year round, has harbor views from most rooms and is furnished with a relaxed mix of country antiques and original art. A parlor with a gas stove offers a place for guests to unwind or plan your day. A full country breakfast is served in the dining room or on the porch. The garden and garden cottage invites you to linger with your morning coffee, afternoon tea or just to catch up on a little reading. We offer croquet and badminton on the Inn lawn. A great dining experience awaits you at the harbor where you will find a full restaurant and "lobster in the rough".

There are 3 main guest rooms at The Inn at Round Pond. Each of them offers a queen or king sized bed, relaxing sitting area, and private full bathroom. Guests wake up to the sunrise over the harbor in these spacious and light filled rooms.
