MAINE SEA KAYAKING DIRECTIONS

MUSCONGUS & JOHNS BAY - NEW HARBOR KAYAK BASE New Harbor Maine Map


MUSCONGUS /JOHNS BAY REGION - From Southern Maine and Points South :Follow I-95 North (South-through Topsham/Lisbon) to I-295 until you reach Brunswick/Bath Exit 28 (formerly Exit 22). Merge onto US-1 North and drive through Wiscasset/Newcastle.  Take the US-1-BR exit to Damariscotta.  Turn slight right onto ME-129/ME-130 toward Bristol.  Continue on ME-130 to New Harbor and make a right onto Huddle Road (follow the signs to Pemaquid Beach/Colonial Pemaquid).  Maine Kayak is approximately one half mile on the right.  From Points North of Brunswick : I-95 South becomes I-295 (formerly I-95) to Brunswick/Bath Exit 28 (formerly Exit 22) - follow directions above.

MAINE LAKE KAYAKING DIRECTIONS

PEMAQUID LAKE REGION - From Southern Maine and Points South :Follow I-95 North (South-through Topsham/Lisbon) to I-295 until you reach Brunswick/Bath Exit 28 (formerly Exit 22). PENOBSCOT RIVER - From Southern Maine and Points South : I-95 North to I-295 North (Portland) back into I-95 North. Continue I-95 North to Exit 244 (formerly Exit 56) in Medway.   Rt. 11-157 West to Millinocket, follow signs to Baxter State Park approximately 8 miles to the " Big Moose Inn " on your right. From Points North of Medway : I-95 South to Exit 244 (formerly Exit 56) in Medway - follow directions from above.

MAINE YOUTH GROUP KAYAKING DIRECTIONS

KENNEBEC RIVER - From Southern Maine and Points South : I-95 North to I-295 North (Portland) back into I-95 North. Continue I-95 North to Exit 133 (formerly Exit 36) in Waterville/Fairfield.   Rt. 201 North to Bingham - " North Country Rivers " on your left. From Points North of Skowhegan : I-95 South to Exit 157 (formerly Exit 39) in Newport.   Rt 2 West to Skowhegan.   Rt 201 North to Bingham- " North Country Rivers " on your left.
